Campers who seek out the lower lake find a more secluded camping area on the shore of a pretty little lake. Sites are availabelon a first come-first serve basis. Fishing and boating are popular, along with swimming and hiking. The Sandy Point Day Use area and boat ramp at Bucks Lake are a little more than 2 miles away. Lower Bucks Campground has 7 lakeside sites and a small boat launch. The campsites are well separated along the shore. A Boy Scout camp is located nearby.
